Congratulations on your acceptance!
We look forward to you joining our small, smart spirited art and design community!
Next steps…
Step 1:
Pay your Tuition Deposit
Reserve your space in the incoming fall 2024 class by submitting a $225 tuition deposit online.
You can also submit your deposit by sending a check for $225 payable to Delaware College of Art and Design. Mail it to DCAD, 600 N. Market Street, Wilmington, DE, 19801. Your deposit will be credited towards your first semester’s tuition and is non-refundable after May 1st.
Step 2:
Apply for Financial Aid
If you have not already filed your Free Application for Federal Aid, do so online here. Our school code is 04139800. Even though you may have filed your FAFSA, DCAD will not receive your information until late March or early April.
What can you do to receive your DCAD Financial Aid Award now not later?
- If you completed and filed your FAFSA, send us a copy of your FAFSA Submission Form (the document that is generated after you submit your form).
- If you have not completed your FAFSA, complete the Federal Student Aid Estimator online and send us the results that show your Student Aid Index (SAI) and your federal aid eligibility amounts including the Federal Pell Grant.
Upon receipt of your FAFSA information, we can determine your eligibility for all forms of need-based DCAD, federal and institutional financial aid in addition to any merit awards you have already received and we will send you a financial aid award letter.
DCAD’s FAFSA school code is 041398
Step 3:
Complete your Roommate Questionnaire
If you plan to live on-campus please complete a roommate questionnaire. This will help us get started on planning for your arrival to campus this fall!
Step 4:
Come to Accepted Students Day!
We are ready to celebrate with you! You are cordially invited to our Accepted Students Day event on April 6. Meet fellow members of the Class of 2026, DCAD’s faculty and staff, and mingle with current students. More information will be coming – check your email for updates!
Step 5:
Receive the DCAD Advantage – Access to Adobe Creative Cloud
Do you want free access to Adobe Creative Cloud and a jump start to you academic and professional career? That’s exactly what you get when you make your deposit to Delaware College of Art and Design. In addition to Adobe Creative Cloud applications (a $600 value!) your DCAD deposit also provides you with access to:
- Weekly online workshops led by DCAD Program Chairs.
- A summer class in the new Student Technology Center, featuring state-of-the-art 3D printers, laser cutters, Shop-BOTs and more!
Step 6:
Share your Decision on our Social Platforms!
We would love to feature our incoming class on our social media. Please reach out to DCAD’s Social Team with you/your students name, major choice, and 2-3 images featuring the student and their work.
Finally:
