As part of the agreement, eligible students who earn their associate’s degree at DCAD will enjoy a smooth transition to Arcadia University.
Articulated degree curriculums include:
- Fine Art (Painting and Printmaking)
- Graphic Design
- Illustration
- Photography
Present at the signing on Monday, September 13, were DCAD President Jean Dahlgren and Academic Dean Katy Ro. Also in attendance was Jeff Rutenbeck, Arcadia Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Rebecca Kohn, Vice Provost and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
“Colleges and universities provide transformational experiences to help students realize their full potential in their field of study,” said Arcadia University Provost Rutenbeck. “Articulation agreements present another opportunity for them to further develop their skills, another opportunity for them to follow their vision and move closer to their career and artistic goals.”
President Dahlgren was equally delighted with the agreement. “This is a perfect example of how two colleges can work together to serve undergraduate populations.”
