The Office of Development is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with the DCAD community. These relationships, including partnerships and community outreach, are an important aspect of the school’s mission. The office also coordinates fundraising, special events and alumni relations.
For the last four years, DCAD has celebrated its success with an annual gala. Funds raised at these events help offset the nearly $800,000 given in scholarships and grants to worthy students. The events have raised approximately $275,000 and are the result of hard work by board members, volunteers, students, faculty and staff.

You can support DCAD in many ways: attend an exhibition opening and bring friends, buy a ticket to the spring gala, take a Continuing Education class, join a committee or donate to the Annual Appeal. The DCAD community is growing and we want you to be part of this amazing institution.

Stuart B. Young Scholarship Fund
In honor of Stuart B. Young, Esq., DCAD Chairman of the Board of Directors (2002-2010) and founding Chairman of the Board of Overseers (2000-2010), a scholarship has been established. As of Aug. 31, 2010, he is retiring and will be Distinguished Chairman Emeritus.
