Welcome to DCAD's Class of 2019!

Congratulations! You are now part of a select group of student artists and designers and part of the #DCADcommunity!

Let's make this official.  Confirm your enrollment now!

The next two years are likely to be filled with a wealth of excitement, and we look forward to you joining us for this next chapter! The anticipation of beginning college brings many questions, concerns, and decisions. DCAD's Admissions, Student Services, and Financial Aid staff members are here to help you every step of the way.

Get to know DCAD better:

To get an idea of what's currently going on around campus, follow DCAD on FacebookTwitter or Instagram. Take a look at our degree programs. Check out our residence halls and see what Wilmington has to offer.

What's Next?

To secure enrollment in your major of choice, you must submit your tuition deposit as soon as possible. If you intend to live on campus, a housing deposit also is required to reserve your space in DCAD’s residence halls. Deposits are 100 percent refundable until May 1.

Placement Tests:

After confirming your enrollment, you will need to undergo placement testing for your academic courses. DCAD uses the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER tests for placement. For more information about these tests and to sign up for a test session, click here. PLEASE NOTE: International students will undergo testing upon arrival at DCAD for orientation.

To officially become a DCAD student:

STEP 1. Please complete and return the Enrollment Agreement Form along with the required $200 non-refundable* tuition deposit as soon as possible.  After May 1, 2017, tuition deposits are non-refundable should you decide to withdraw your enrollment.

STEP 2.  You can reserve space in DCAD's residence halls with a $350 deposit an a completed Roommate Questionnaire and Meal Plan Contract.   Want to see what's on our meal plan?  Check out the attached CulinArt Sample Menu.

Regardless if you are a resident or commuter, all students must complete a Meal Plan Contract.  If you reside on campus, you are required to participate in DCAD’s Platinum 19 Meal Plan option.  Commuter students may elect to enroll in a meal plan. Learn more about DCAD’s dining services.

Please return the required forms and deposits online.

Financial Aid Help

Start by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). From there, the DCAD Financial Aid Office can create and send Financial Aid Award Packages. Please note: international students are not eligible for federal-based aid. Financial Aid Award Packages are sent within two weeks to three weeks after all documents and the FAFSA have been completed. If you have not filed a FAFSA, get started at www.fafsa.ed.gov. DCAD's School Code is 041398.

To get an estimate of what the package could look like, use DCAD's Net Price Calculator. Sample packages are also available to help you better visualize different combinations of aid.  If you have questions or concerns regarding financial aid matters, call the Financial Aid Office at 302.622.8000 ext. 105 or email financialaid@dcad.edu.
