DCAD Announces Transfer Partnership with University of the Arts

The University of the Arts (UArts) and DCAD have recently announced a partnership to assist DCAD graduates who wish to continue their educations at UArts. A series of “articulation agreements” have been reached that are designed to facilitate the maximum transfer of credits for DCAD students moving into one of four bachelor of fine arts degree programs in UArts’ College of Art, Media & Design: Animation, Illustration, Interdisciplinary Fine Arts and Photography.

Sixteenth Annual DCAD Commencement to be held May 12
April 28th 2014

The Delaware College of Art and Design will hold its 16th Annual Commencement on Monday, May 12, at The Grand Opera House in Wilmington. A procession of graduates, DCAD board members, faculty, staff and administrators will march up Market Street at 2PM, joined by Wilmington Mayor Dennis P. Williams.

DCAD students exhibit at Delaware Museum of Natural History through April 19

The state’s only professional school of art and design and the state’s only museum of natural history teamed up this spring for Nature’s Bounty: Nature-Inspired Arta unique, curated exhibition showcasing work inspired by the natural world. The Delaware College of Art and Design displayed work by students in a variety of media from March 7 to April 19 at the Delaware Museum of Natural History.
