Kirsten works as a fine artist when she is not teaching, using mixed media on plywood and other recycled building materials to create everlasting images of landscapes, vegetables, other organic, ephemeral forms. Her work is in private collections in the United States and Europe and will be included in a book entitled, '100 Artists of the Brandywine Valley' by Catherine Quillman. Teaching experience includes Moore College of Art and Design, Widener University, Pratt Institute, Chester Springs Studio, Chester County Art Association, and DCAD.
